I love to look at hands.

I remember holding a child on my lap and she said, "Let me see your hands." Oh maybe we were comparing hands. At any rate she thought my hands ugly.

LOL hands do show age. What interested me is how I felt about my hands. I could see why she found them ugly, but when I looked I could see and remember all these hands had done. It was impossible for me to think them ugly.

I forget which one, but one of the older feminists was talking about aging and having a somewhat similar Epiphany. She saw a photograph of an old woman. At first she noticed all the wrinkles in here face, but then she attended to the woman in the photographs hands. Those old hands were unquestionably beautiful to the aging feminist and changed here point of view of her facial wrinkles too.

"Epidermal maps," yes, and you see you can read them today and everyday for a story of where you've come and where you'll go.
